Junnosuke Kamohara
I am a Ph.D. student in Robotics at Georgia Institute of Technology, advised by Dr. Ye Zhao and co-advised by Dr. Seth Hutchinson in Northeastern University.
Previously, I received a B.S. in aerospace and mechanical engineering from Tohoku University in Japan advised by Dr. Kazuya Yoshida.
Research
My research interests lie in humanoid robot control on unstructured outdoor natural terrain. Particularly, my research focus includes:
- MPC and RL combined control for robust and versatile locomotion/loco-manipulation
- RL based humanoid locomotion on deformable terrain
- Terrain adaptive locomotion
- Skill learning and coordination for loco-manipulation
