Junnosuke Kamohara
I am a Ph.D. student in Robotics at Georgia Institute of Technology, advised by Dr. Ye Zhao and co-advised by Dr. Seth Hutchinson in Northeastern University.
Previously, I received a B.S. in aerospace and mechanical engineering from Tohoku University in Japan advised by Dr. Kazuya Yoshida.
research
I’m interested in humanoid locomotion in outdoor natural terrain. Particularly, my research focus includes (1) Combination of model-based and learning-based methods to achieve robust and versatile locomotion/locomanipulation, (2) Modeling and system identification, (3) Skill learning and coordination.
